Doors & Windows for Wemco Units and Low Pressure Vessels
Separation Specialists offers quick opening safety doors/hatches that seal moderate pressures. These doors can be installed on Wemco Units and other low pressure vessels. They are manufactured from 1020, 304, or 316 to handle exposure to corrosive gases and liquids.
The doors may also be equipped with a window assembly that permits viewing of the interior without opening the door. Window assemblies come equipped with an integrated wiper that permits cleaning of the window.
Three door styles are available. Each door style may be fitted with a widow.
1) Riveted Door: Used in low pressure applications where minimal leaks are not a problem.
2) Vulcanized Door: Used to provide a secure seal where the surface of the vessel is in good condition.
3) Channel Door: Used to provide the best seal and easy field replacement of the gasket. These doors can be installed on a vessel surface or via a flange mount as pictured below.
